The Italian Film Festival Berlin 2015 proposes a not-to-be-missed preview: the German première of La trattativa by Sabina Guzzanti.
On Sunday 12 April 2015 at the cinema Babylon in Berlin (the official location of the Italian Film Festival), the actress and director will present her last film and meet the public after the screening.
This event will take place at 4:00 pm.
Tickets cost 11 Euros and include the screening and the aperitif. It is possible to book them online on the website www.babylonberlin.de.
This show is organised in collaboration with CinemAperitivo, a series of events that Babylon dedicates to Italian cinema.
What does negotiation mean? What are the concessions that the Italian State makes to the Mafia in exchange for stopping massacres? Who assassinated Falcone and Borsellino? What is the eternal coexistence between the Mafia and politics, between the Mafia and the Church and between the Mafia and the security force? And is there anything else? A group of actors represents the most important episodes of the negotiations between the Italian State and the Mafia. They act the part of Mafiosi, secret service agents, senior officers, magistrates, victims and killers, Masons, honest and brave people and people who have been brave to some extent. Hence, one of the most intricate issues of recent Italian history becomes an exciting story.
La trattativa was presented out of competition at the Venice Film Festival 2014 and represents the fifth film directed by Sabina Guzzanti.
The second edition of the Italian Film Festival Berlin 2015 will take place from 2 to 4 October in the German capital and this year will be held together with the Italian Film Boutique, promoted by the Roma Lazio Film Commission, which organized this event with the Tuscia Film Fest.

Domenica 12 aprile 2015 al Babylon di Berlino - sede ufficiale dell'Italian Film Festival - l'attrice e regista presenterà il suo ultimo film e incontrerà il pubblico al termine della proiezione.
L’evento avrà inizio alle ore 16.

Un gruppo di attori mette in scena gli episodi più rilevanti della vicenda nota come trattativa stato mafia, impersonando mafiosi, agenti dei servizi segreti, alti ufficiali, magistrati, vittime e assassini, massoni, persone oneste e coraggiose e persone coraggiose fino a un certo punto. Così una delle vicende più intricate della recente storia italiana diventa un racconto appassionante.
Presentato fuori concorso alla Mostra del cinema di Venezia 2014, La trattativa è il quinto film da regista di Sabina Guzzanti.
La seconda edizione dell'Italian Film Festival Berlin 2015 avrà luogo dal 2 al 4 ottobre nella capitale tedesca e sarà affiancato quest’anno dall’Italian Film Boutique promossa dalla Roma Lazio Film Commission, co-organizzatrice con il Tuscia Film Fest della manifestazione.
